News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $106 million ( $64.9 million in cash ) was not won and once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 11th January 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-03-13-16-43 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the $106 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but one lucky ticket holder from West Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket ( thus $1 million x Powerplay of 2 = $2 million).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $121 million ( $74.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 14th January 2017.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the growing jackpot !
