News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $187 million ( $113.3 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 28th January 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 12-20-39-49-69 and the Powerball of 17 and thus the annuitised $187 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three lucky ticket holders , one from Illinois , one from New Jersey and one from Pennsylvania won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and scooped a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $206 million ( $124.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 1st February 2017.
