News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $381 million ( $228.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th March 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-10-21-35-46 and the Powerball of 23 and thus the annuitised $381 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $414 million ( $247.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th March 2019.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from Nebraska , one from Puerto Rico and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Nebraska and Texas took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Puerto Rico winning $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
