News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $220 million ( $139 million in cash ) was not won and has started to build up again to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 26th July 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 07-19-21-42-69 and the Powerball of 12 and thus the annuitised $220 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but four lucky ticket holders , two from Arizona , one from Kansas and one from Massachusetts won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
One of the lucky second prize winners from Arizona selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket and thus doubled their second prize from $1 million to $2 million , with the other second prize ticket holder from Arizona and the second prize ticket holders from Kansas and Massachusetts winning $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $239 million ( $151 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 29th July 2017.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the growing jackpot !
