News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $191 million ( $115.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 2nd February 2019 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-17-18-43-65 and the Powerball of 13 and thus the annuitised $191 million jackpot was not won .
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from New Mexico , one from North Carolina and one from Wisconsin won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from New Mexico and Wisconsin took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from North Carolina winning $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket ( Powerplay multiplier is always TWO at this level of prize money)
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was FIVE.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $204 million ( $124.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 6th February 2019.
