News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $85 million ( $51 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 8th March 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 23-33-42-46-59 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the $85 million jackpot was not won.
It was a relatively quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw no ticket holders won a first or second prize with the first payout coming at the third prize level where fifteen ticket holders matched four main balls and the Powerball.
Four of the lucky third prize winners selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket and doubled their winnings as the Powerplay number was two in last night’s draw.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $104 million ( $62.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 11th March 2017.
