In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th January 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 02-11-47-62-63 and the Powerball of 17 and thus the $524.1 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but fifteen lucky ticket holders won the second prize by matching the five main balls . The second prize ticket holders came from California , Connecticut , Florida (x2) , Georgia , Louisiana (x2) , Massachusetts , Nebraska , New Mexico ( with Powerplay) , New York , Oregon , Tennessee , Texas and Washington.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $1,414,967 , the second prize ticket holder from New Mexico who selected the Powerplay option on thier entry ticket won $2 million with all the remaining second prize winners scooping $1 million each – with this large number of second prize winners Lottery enthusiasts are clearly getting close to that massive Powerball jackpot !
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated and incredible $675 million ( $413.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th January 2016.
For the next Powerball draw the Lotto Central team recommend a visit to the Lotter to play the Powerball game online either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Lottery Syndicate. The perplexing issue is how to decide whether to play the next Powerball draw either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Syndicate – the answer of course is to do both options !
We wish all our blog readers a great week in their Lottery playing endeavours !
