News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $148 million ( $97.6 million in cash ) was not won as once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 6th April 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 04-28-49-60-65 and the Powerball of 25 and thus the $148 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but two lucky ticket holders , one from Florida and one from Massachusetts won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holder from Massachusetts won $ 1 million with the second prize ticket holder from Florida winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket .
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $168 million ( $110.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 9th April 2016.
