News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $222 million ( $151.5 million in cash ) was not won as once again the Powerball jackpot begins to build up to a significant three figure sum worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !
In the draw last night , Wednesday 29th June 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 23-29-37-60-64 and the Powerball of 06 and thus the $222 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three lucky ticket holders , two from Florida and one from Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holder from Virginia and one of the second second prize ticket holders from Florida won $1 million each with the other second prize ticket holder from Florida winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket . ( Powerplay multiplier is always 2 at this prize level ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $243 million ( $165.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 2nd July 2016.
