News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $64 million ( $40.6 million in cash ) was not won and will therefore start to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 21st June 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-46-61-65-68 and the Powerball of 13 and thus the annuitised $64 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but two ticket holders , one from Florida and one from Puerto Rico won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Florida won $1 million with the second prize ticket holder from Puerto Rico winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier is always 2 at this level )
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $79 million ( $50.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 24th June 2017.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the growing jackpot !
