News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that Wednesday night’s Powerball Jackpot of $246 million ( $146.4 million in cash ) was not won with the Powerball Jackpot now hitting significant amounts worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 21st February 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 07-15-31-34-36 and the Powerball of 08 and thus the annuitised $246 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $269 million ( $160.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 24th February 2018.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but one lucky ticket holder from Florida won a second prize by matching five main balls and took home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket .( Powerplay multiplier at this prize level is always 2 thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million )
