News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $40 million ( $25.4 million in cash ) was not won and has started to build up again after the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 20th September 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 39-48-53-67-68 and the Powerball of 26 and thus the annuitised $40 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $53 million ( $33.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 23rd September 2017.
No ticket holders won the first prize in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but one lucky ticket holder from Indiana won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and won $1 million in prize money.
