News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $156 million ( $98.3 million in cash ) was not won and has started to build up again after the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 18th October 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 30-49-54-66-69 and the Powerball of 08 and thus the annuitised $156 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $173 million ( $109 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 21st October 2017.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from California , one from Texas and one from Wisconsin won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $1,072,892 in prize money , the second prize ticket holder from Texas won $2 million in prize money ( Powerplay option selected on entry ticket ) and the second prize ticket holder from Wisconsin won $1 million in prize money.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the growing jackpot !
