News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that Wednesday night’s Powerball Jackpot of $132 million ( $78.6 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to grow quickly again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 12th September 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-28-48-63-64 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $132 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $147 million ( $87.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 15th September 2018.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw but two lucky ticket holders , one from California and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holder from California won $1,607,469 in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Texas winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in last night’s draw was 2 thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million in prize money.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
