News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $128 million ( $79.7 million in cash ) was not won and has started to build up again after the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 11th October 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-03-13-19-69 and the Powerball of 23 and thus the annuitised $128 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rise to an estimated $143 million ( $89 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 14th October 2017.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball draw but one lucky ticket holder from North Carolina won a second prize by matching the five main balls and scooped $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket ! ( Powerplay is 2 thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million )
