News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $105 million ( $63.1 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot has started to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th June 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 06-10-15-25-36 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $105 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from Idaho , one from Indiana and one from Minnesota won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holders from Indiana and Minnesota won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from Idaho winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket . ( Powerplay mutliplier at this level of prize payout is always two thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million )
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will rise to an estimated $121 million ( $72.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 6th June 2018.
Previous experience shows that the Powerball jackpot grows rapidly so the Lotto Central team advise blog readers to keep an eye on the Lotto Central blog to monitor progress !
