News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $212 million ( $133.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot has started to build to a significant amount worth of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th December 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 25-36-37-55-60 and the Powerball of 06 and thus the annuitised $212 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but three lucky ticket holders , one from Minnesota , one from Virginia and one from Washington won a second prize by matching five main balls .
The second prize ticket holders from Minnesota and Virginia won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from Washington winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $229 million ( $144.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 13th December 2017.
