News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $168 million was not won and now starts to build up again after the recent $292 million jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th April 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-22-23-41-61 and the Powerball of 09 and thus the $168 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize but three lucky ticket holders , one from Minnesota, one from New Jersey and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holders from Minnesota and New Jersey won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from Texas scooping $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million.( Powerplay is always 2 at this level of prize money ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore rollover to an estimated $184 million ( $122.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 13th April 2016.
For the next Powerball draw the Lotto Central team recommend a visit to the Lotter to play the Powerball game online either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Lottery Syndicate. The perplexing issue is how to decide whether to play the next Powerball draw either as a single line entry or as part of a Powerball Syndicate – the answer of course is to do both options !
We wish all our blog readers a great week in their Lottery playing endeavours !
