News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $80 million ( $48.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot has started to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 7th July 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-10-43-45-64 and the Powerball of 22 and thus the annuitised $80 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but one lucky ticket holder from Puerto Rico won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier at this level of prize money is always two thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will rise to an estimated $90 million ( $54.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 11th July 2018.
