News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $54 million ( $32.7 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 3rd December 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 08-10-26-27-33 and the Powerball of 22 and thus the annuitised $54 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but four lucky ticket holders , one from Georgia , one from Louisiana , one from North Carolina and one from Pennsylvania won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Georgia , North Carolina and Pennsylvania won $1 million each with the second prize ticket holder from Louisiana winning $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $67 million ( $40.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 7th December 2016.
Previous experience shows that the Powerball jackpot grows rapidly so the Lotto Central team advise blog readers to keep an eye on the Lotto Central blog to monitor progress !
