News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $478 million ( $330.6 million in cash ) was won as one lucky ticket holder from New Hampshire scooped Saturday night’s Powerball jackpot !
In the draw last night , Saturday 30th July 2016 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 11-17-21-23-32 and the Powerball of 05 and thus the $478 million jackpot was won.
One lucky ticket holder won the first prize last night but also fifteen lucky ticket holders , three from California, one from Florida , three from Georgia , one from Nebraska , one from New Hampshire, two from Pennsylvania ( one with Powerplay) , one from South Carolina , one from Tennessee , one from Washington and one from West Virginia won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The three second prize ticket holders from California won $785,065 each with the remainder of the second prize ticket holders winning $1 million each with the exception of the second prize ticket holder from Pennsylvania who selected the Powerplay opti0n who won $2 million.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $40 million ( $28.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 3rd August 2016.
