News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $243 million ( $165.9 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again to a significant amount after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 2nd July 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-34-39-59-63 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the $243 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but three lucky ticket holders , one from Colorado, one from Indiana and one from Minnesota won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Colorado and Indiana won $2 million each as they had the selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket , the second prize ticket holder from Minnesota won $1 million.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $257 million ( $179.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 6th July 2016.
