News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $40 million ( $24 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot has started to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 23rd June 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 16-29-43-45-56 and the Powerball of 25 and thus the annuitised $40 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw but four lucky ticket holders , two from Louisiana , one from Nebraska and one from Texas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw .
The second prize ticket holders from Nebraska and Texas won $1 million each. One of the second prize ticket holder from Louisiana won $2 million as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket with the other second prize ticket holder from Louisiana winning $1 million.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will rise to an estimated $50 million ( $30 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 27th June 2018.
