News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $172 million ( $106.4 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 15th July 2017 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 09-40-63-64-66 and the Powerball of 17 and thus the annuitised $172 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but one lucky ticket holder from Arkansas won a second prize by matching the five main balls and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their entry ticket!. ( Powerplay at this level of prize is always two thus 2 x $1 million = $2 million ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $187 million ( $116.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 19th July 2017.
