News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $205 million ( $141.2 million in cash ) was not won and has now started to build up again after the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 10th September 2016 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 03-17-49-55-68 and the Powerball of 08 and thus the $205 million jackpot was not won.
No ticket holders won the first prize last night but two lucky ticket holders , one from California and one from Kansas won a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California won $1,301,956 with the second prize ticket holder from Kansas winning $1 million in prize money.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $222 million ( $150.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 14th September 2016.
