News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $177.7 million ( $87.2 million in cash) was not won and will therefore start to build up once again following last week’s mammoth Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 9th August 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-15-21-67-69 and the Powerball of 03 and thus the annuitised $177.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $194 million ( $95.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 12th August 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Illinois , one from Tennessee and one from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
