News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $143.6 million ( $99 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up once again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 5th May 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 16-23-28-40-63 and the Powerball of 01 and thus the annuitised $143.6 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $157 million ( $108.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 8th May 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however two lucky ticket holders one from Florida and one from Michigan did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
There were 525,588 prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $5,595,761 being paid out in prize money.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
