News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $856.1 million ( $400.2 million in cash) was not won and therefore has now started to build up nicely once again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 27th September 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-07-46-47-63 and the Powerball of 07 and thus the annuitised $856.1 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $925 million ( $432.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 30th September 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders , one from California , one from Kansas , one from Maryland and one from New York did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Kansas , Maryland and New York took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $796,425 in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 1,865,125 winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $18,408,010 being paid out in prize money.
