News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $316.4 million ( $145.6 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot has now started to build up nicely once again following the recent mammoth Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd November 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 20-24-33-39-42 and the Powerball of 21 and thus the annuitised $316.4 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $340 million ( $156.5 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th November 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however five ticket holders , one from California , one from Florida , one from New York ,one from North Carolina and one from Oregon did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw .
The second prize ticket holders from Florida , North Carolina and Oregon took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from New York and taking home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $1,244,495 in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
There were 556,518 winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $9,758,238 being paid out in prize money.
