News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $101.7 million ( $47.8 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot will now start to build up once again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 22nd May 2024 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 05-16-18-26-67 and the Powerball of 04 and thus the annuitised $101.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $120 million ( $56.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 25th May 2024.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from California did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home $164,525 in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 384,017 winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $4,719,410 being paid out in prize money.
