News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $575.8 million ( $288.6 million in cash) was not won and therefore the jackpot has now started to build up nicely once again following the recent mammoth Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 20th December 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 27-35-41-56-60 and the Powerball of 16 and thus the annuitised $575.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated annuitised $620 million ( $310.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 23rd December 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however five ticket holders ,one from Colorado, two from Kentucky , one from Rhode Island and one from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Rhode Island and one from Kentucky took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Colorado ,Virginia and one from Kentucky taking home $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
