News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $66.7 million ( $48.8 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to grow once again following the recent jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 17th February 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-15-21-32-46 and the Powerball of 01 and thus the annuitised $66.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $78 million ( $57.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 20th February 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however one lucky ticket holder from Pennsylvania did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier is always a maximum of two at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 409,604 prize winners in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw with $5,205,847 being paid out in prize money.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
