News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $435.7 million ( $316.2 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up nicely once again to an amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Wednesday 15th September 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-04-18-46-62 and the Powerball of 25 and thus the annuitised $435.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $457 million ( $331.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Saturday 18th September 2021.
There were no first prize ticket holders in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from California , one from Illinois and one from North Carolina did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Illinois and North Carolina took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from California taking home $2,581,768 in prize money.
There were 776,894 winners in Wednesday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $9,374,024 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Wednesday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
