News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $501.8 million ( $242.7 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Saturday 9th September 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 11-19-29-63-68 and the Powerball of 25 and thus the annuitised $501.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $522 million ( $252.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 11th September 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders , one from Florida, one from New Hampshire and one from Virginia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from New Hampshire and Virginia took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Florida taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 1,046,930 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $11,254,897 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
