News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $155.9 million ( $108.5 million in cash ) was not won and thus the jackpot will now start to build up once again following the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 8th May 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 12-17-20-21-26 and the Powerball of 08 and thus the annuitised $155.9 million jackpot was not won.

There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three lucky ticket holders, one from Iowa , one from Maryland and one from New York did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Maryland and New York took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Iowa taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier is a maximum of two at this level of prize payout).
There were 670,215 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $11,005,684 being paid out in prize money.
