News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from our blog readers across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $215 million ( $127.7 million in cash ) was not won as the Powerball Jackpot begins to build up again after the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 5th May 2018 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-29-36-57-61 and the Powerball of 17 and thus the annuitised $215 million jackpot was not won.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball draw but two lucky ticket holders , one from Missouri and one from Wyoming won a second prize by matching five main balls in the Powerball Lottery draw.
The second prize ticket holder from Missouri won $1 million in prize money with the second prize winner from Wyoming winning $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket ( 2 x $1 million = $2 million ).
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $233 million ( $139.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 9th May 2018.
