News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $248.7 million ( $189.3 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now grown to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!
In the draw last night , Saturday 5th December 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 03-04-06-48-53 and the Powerball of 10 and thus the annuitised $248.7 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $262 million ( $199.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 9th December 2020.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw however one lucky ticket holder from Michigan did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 761,513 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $7,069,825 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
