News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $126.8 million ( $98.6 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has started to build up nicely again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 31st October 2020 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 02-06-40-42-55 and the Powerball of 24 and thus the annuitised $126.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $137 million ( $106.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 4th November 2020.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three lucky ticket holders , one from Arizona , one from Massachusetts and one from Pennsylvania did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Arizona and Pennsylvania took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Massachusetts taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.( Powerplay multiplier is set at a maximum of two at this level of prize payout).
There were 548,654 winners in Saturday night’s US Powerball Draw with a total of $9,241,447 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
