News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $822.3 million ( $408.9 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention!.
In the draw last night , Saturday 29th October 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 19-31-40-46-57 and the Powerball of 23 and thus the annuitised $822.3 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $1 Billion ( $497.3 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 31st October 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however seven ticket holders , two from California , one from Florida , one from Maryland , two from Michigan and one from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from California took home $552,641 each in prize money , the second prize ticket holders from Maryland , Michigan and Texas took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Florida taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket .( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 3,870,759 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $38,082,517 being paid out in winnings.
