News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $528.8 million ( $380.5 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up nicely again to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Saturday 25th September 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 22-23-37-62-63 and the Powerball of 19 and thus the annuitised $528.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $545 million ( $392.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 27th September 2021.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders , one from Connecticut , one from Illinois , one from New Jersey and one from Pennsylvania did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Connecticut , New Jersey and Pennsylvania took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Illinois taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay multiplier capped at 2 at this level of prize money payout).
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
There were 1,526,704 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $16,697,716 being paid out in winnings.
