News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $748.3 million ( $349.9 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up to a significant amount worthy of Lottery enthusiast’s attention !.
In the draw last night , Saturday 23rd September 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 01-12-20-33-66 and the Powerball of 21 and thus the annuitised $748.3 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $785 million ( $367 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 25th September 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however four ticket holders , one from California , one from Florida , one from Michigan and one from New York did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holder from California took home $5,422,749 in prize money with the second prize ticket holders from Florida and New York taking home $1 million each in prize money.
The second prize ticket holder from Michigan took home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 1,570,363 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $15,902,277 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
