News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $626.4 million ( $315.3 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent mammoth Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 23rd December 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 09-14-17-18-53 and the Powerball of 06 and thus the annuitised $626.4 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $638 million ( $321.1 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 25th December 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however three ticket holders ,one from Arizona , one from Missouri and one from Nebraska did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Arizona and Missouri took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Nebraska taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket. ( Powerplay mutliplier capped at 2 at this level of prize payout)
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
