US Powerball Lottery Draw Review – Saturday 22nd January 2022

US Powerball LogoNews reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $75.4 million ( $52.5 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball Jackpot has now started to build up again following the recent jackpot win.

In the draw last night , Saturday 22nd January 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 08-14-33-36-67 and the Powerball of 17 and thus the annuitised $75.4 million jackpot was not won.

The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $82 million ( $57.2 million in cash)  in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 24th January 2022.

There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , one from Florida and one from Georgia did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.

The second prize ticket holder from Florida took home $1 million in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Georgia taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.

The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.

There were 513,169 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $6,618,425 being paid out in winnings.

Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
