News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $22.8 million ( $10.3 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot will now start to build up again following last week’s mammoth jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 14th October 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 14-16-42-48-64 and the Powerball of 14 and thus the annuitised $22.8 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $34 million ( $15.4 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 16th October 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however two ticket holders , one from Nebraska and one from South Carolina did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million each in prize money.
There were 600,705 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $6,555,940 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
