News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s annuitised Powerball Jackpot of $203.5 million ( $100 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up nicely again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Saturday 12th August 2023 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 19-21-37-50-65 and the Powerball of 26 and thus the annuitised $203.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $215 million ( $105.7 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Monday 14th August 2023.
There were no first prize winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Texas did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million each in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 726,477 winners in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw with $7,006,553 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Saturday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
