News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $27.2 million ( $16 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot is now starting to build up again following the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 8th August 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 32-45-51-57-58 and the Powerball of 12 and thus the annuitised $27.2 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $35 million ( $20.6 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 10th August 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however one lucky ticket holder from Puerto Rico did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 254,283 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $3,623,636 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
