News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $90.5 million ( $62 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot will now start to build up again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 7th March 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 10-43-55-59-67 and the Powerball of 02 and thus the annuitised $90.5 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $99 million ( $67.9 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 9th March 2022.
It was a quiet night in Powerballville last night as in Monday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where five ticket holders ( two with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket ) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball in the Powerball Draw.
There were 259,134 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $2,185,856 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
