News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $279 million ( $204.2 million in cash ) was not won and therefore the Powerball jackpot has now started to build up again following the recent Powerball jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 6th December 2021 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 03-21-38-50-59 and the Powerball of 06 and thus the annuitised $279 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $291 million ( $213 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 8th December 2021.
It was a dull night in Powerballville last night as in Monday night’s Powerball Draw there were no first or second prize winners with the first payout coming at the third prize level where eleven ticket holders ( three with the Powerplay option selected on their Powerball entry ticket) matched four main white balls and the red Powerball.
There were 426,335 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $3,582,363 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was THREE.
