News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $158.4 million ( $87.4 million in cash ) was not won and thus the Powerball jackpot is now starting to build up again following the recent Powerball Jackpot win.
In the draw last night , Monday 5th September 2022 no ticket holders matched the main ball numbers of 04-07-32-55-64 and the Powerball of 25 and thus the annuitised $158.4 million jackpot was not won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore increase to an estimated $170 million ( $93.8 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 7th September 2022.
There were no first prize winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however one ticket holder from Louisiana did win a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw and took home a not too shabby $1 million in prize money.
There were 261,787 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $3,068,004 being paid out in prize money.
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
Previous experience proves that the Powerball jackpot soon grows substantially after a couple of rollovers so keep an eye on the LottoCentral blog to keep track of the ever growing jackpot !
