News reaches Lotto Central HQ this morning from across the pond that last night’s Powerball Jackpot of $699.8 million ( $496 million in cash ) was finally won as one lucky ticket holder from California matched the five main white balls and the red Powerball to scoop the Powerball jackpot !!!!
In the draw last night , Monday 4th October 2021 one ticket holder matched the main ball numbers of 12-22-54-66-69 and the Powerball of 15 and thus the annuitised $699.8 million jackpot was finally won.
The Powerball Lottery jackpot will therefore start off again at an estimated $20 million ( $14.2 million in cash) in the next Powerball Lottery Draw which will be drawn on Wednesday 6th October 2021.
There was one first prize winner in Monday night’s Powerball Draw however six ticket holders ,one from Arizona , one from Florida, two from Masschusetts , one from Tennessee and one from Virginia also won a second prize by matching the five main white balls in the Powerball Draw.
The second prize ticket holders from Arizona , Florida, Massachusetts and Virginia took home $1 million each in prize money with the second prize ticket holder from Tennessee taking home $2 million in prize money as they had selected the Powerplay option on their Powerball entry ticket.
There were 2,252,218 winners in Monday night’s Powerball Draw with $23,467,634 being paid out in prize money.( excluding the jackpot)
The Powerplay multiplier in Monday night’s Powerball Draw was TWO.
